Which came first, the chicken or the egg? More importantly, how much control do we have over our life, things on this planet, the future? Are we idle spectators to the events of life, even our life? Or are we actors living a life that we call Self. Could it be both and how does that work out in reality?
As children, we've played many different games growing up and truth be known we're still playing games.
Throughout the day, we practice our lines, we play various roles depending upon who is in front of us and who we're relating to at the moment. At night we lay in bed and try to envision, see, and be the spectators of what has happened and what we think will happen tomorrow. Actors and spectators.

But, what's the game?
Is the game just a dress rehearsal for the real thing? Is it an exhibition game? Or are there eternal consequences to the scenes that are being played out as well as witnessed? The role (s) that we see ourselves playing can change greatly from day to day, sometimes even hour to hour. However, there is a role that's real and never ends.
It's the spirit role, the spirit being that we all are.
If women’s role in life is limited solely to housewife/mother, it clearly ends when she can no longer bear more children and the children she has borne leave home.

So, how are you handling the role? Are you being faithful to the director- God? Are you maturing in the role of life leaving behind childish things, childish thinking? Are you pressing on to the goal of an increased consciousness that will not only benefit you but humanhood as a whole?
One doesn't become a good actor without much practice. Our lines are both written (Bible) and instructive (oral). How are you doing in practicing your lines and obeying the Spirit directors instructions?
